a "martis" bracelet to protect you, as the tradition says, from the first spring sun!
it's made today and is worn from the beginning until the end of march.
the tutorial is written in greek, but you can use the fotos as a guide if you wish to make it.
"martis" comes from the greek word for march "martios".
I need to make mine soon, need the protection I think because I have a feeling it will be very rainy and unstable weather here! /maria

ReplyDeletehere it's just a week after the snowstorm, keeps melting and refreezing, i reckon it will be like that whole march. it's okay, the air is fantastic in the morning! and we have quite a lot of sunshine now, which is loooovely. the only thing that is blossoming here is the pussywillow.
i like the look of the bracelet, we used to make similar ones as kids.
